
It makes the color so much sharper. On my image above, and others that I have used it with in the past, vignetting helps to focus the attention on the intended subject.
2. Describe how you will use the Preset feature in the future.
I think preset would be a useful feature if you're working with a photo shoot. It helps to not have to remember what settings you used, and keep it consistent after the edits.
3. What was your intent for results by using the dodge, burn and sponge features?
My intent was to make things stand out more. I think in the picture of Brian and Wendy Froud it helps to make them appear younger than they actually were when I took the picture.
4. Explain how you decided which healing tools to remove imperfections of images.
I use it when something seems out of place. If it looks like a blemish, not a birthmark. Or it's a hair sticking up, not a hair style.
5. What challenges did you experience in the process?
Using the healing brush but not accidentally "healing" with the wrong color. It's the same issue I have with the cloning tool.
6. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
mostly the same as before for keyboard shortcuts. I've started using the double click on the magnifying glass to zoom to 100%. That was very nice this project.
