Jessica Gregoire- Project 5

1. Describe how using Camera Raw to adjust your color settings, sharpening and vignetting features to improved your images.
I think the tools that worked best in camera raw were the effects tab to create a shadow around the edges of the photo. I found this was a good way to pull the focus into the middle of the photo.

2. Describe how you will use the Preset feature in the future.
I feel like the preset feature will become more useful once I get the hang of these settings. Using preset seems like a quick shortcut to apply specific settings.

3. What was your intent for results by using the dodge, burn and sponge features?
My intention for using the dodge was mostly to color correct under the eyes. SOmetimes this would lighten the dark circles too much, so the burn tool worked really well to add some of the original color back to the photograph.

4. Explain how you decided which healing tools to remove imperfections of images. It actually helped with shine in some of the images. The image of the curly haired woman (above) had a lot of freckles before using the healing tool. I like freckles, but I could see this as being a useful tool for airbrushing.

5. What challenges did you experience in the process?
I don't like syncing my photos. I am not a photographer and my photos are pretty low quality. I find that syncing usually leads to applying settings that don't really work with the second photo in the group.

6. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
I am not really using any new shortcuts.

7. Add link of your completed web page to your blog
