I tried to use blend modes on my final image, switching between ones to find the right feel for the image.
2. How did you use the stacking order to produce your final results in your most complex composite?
My most complicated image used about 5 different layers in an attempt to create a receding skyline. The image order was important, if things didn't overlap correctly it wouldn't look right at all.
3. What layer effects did you use? Which layer styles did you apply to another layer?
I used a few different layer effects. I used drop shadow on some text, but i didn't want to overdo it. I used opaque satin overlays to try to make images that were placed from other light sources fit in correctly. I also used slight inner glow to make things pop off the page.
5. What challenges did you experience in the process?
There are tons of way to make something look really cheesy and fake. I kind of threw all that out with the second image and just had some fun messing around, but on the other two I was trying to make images that looked as natural as possible (though I wasn't all that successful.)
6. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
I use shift-control-z all the time, control-shift-i and control D frequently, and i use alt to get my eyedropper.
