1. Which selection tools did you think worked best for specific types of elements in an image?
Quick select and the magnetic lasso were the most useful!
2. What tools and strategies that you used to create your simple composite will you use in future projects?
Quick select and the magic wand are wonderful. I also really like the alt + move tool combo to duplicate selections, very useful. Inverse select is very useful in general.
3. In this module, you created the transparent images. How do you believe these
images will be used in your future web design projects? What file type did you save
your transparent images as?
I saved the transparent images as pngs. I think these sort of images will be very important as we work more with layers, as they go on a new layer smoothly.
4. What challenges did you experience in the process?
I just found this assignment difficult because there were so many aspects to it: book lesson, blog post, web page, project itself, and discussion. Whew! It was quite a bit to juggle.
5. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
Crl+D and Z are my main ones.
